When her softball team is cut at Will Rogers High, a Cherokee girl draws inspiration from Will Rogers and decides to play boys baseball despite sabotage from the school superintendent.

Did you know there are 34 speaking roles in the Will To Win movie, as the script is written now? While some of the actors will be cast from outside of Oklahoma, the majority could come from within Oklahoma. When the time is right, the production will be on the lookout for a variety of roles, including high school baseball players (18+), and various other high school related roles, and extras.

FROM HOLLYWOOD

Producer Mark Heidelberger is assisting with development from Hollywood, helping to put together many of the players necessary to get the movie into production. Mark’s nearly quarter of a century in Los Angeles has seen him at the helm as a producer of movies ranging from "Harsh Times" (2005) starring Christian Bale, Eva Longoria, and J.K. Simmons and "It’s Not You, It’s Me" (2013) starring Vivica Fox, to "The Basement" (2018) starring Mischa Barton. Producers Russ Kirkpatrick & Andy Kinslow are thrilled to have Mark on the team. 

DID YOU KNOW…

Route 66 will be featured in the Will To Win movie, and the famed highway has history with a famous Cherokee Nation Citizen? Andy Payne won the so-called “Bunyan Derby'' in 1928. The endurance contest, some of it along Route 66, went from California to New York. Payne is memorialized in his hometown of Foyil, Oklahoma near Claremore.
