Dear Friends of Will to Win, We are sad to report that a memory, a part of Will Rogers’ legacy, is gone. The Will Rogers State Historic Park in California was destroyed by the Palisades wildfire this week, along with Will’s home and ranch which were a part of the 186-acre property. As the producers of the Will to Win movie, one of our key altruistic priorities has always been to re-introduce Will Rogers to current and future generations. It’s the very reason Author Jim Stovall wrote his book on which the movie is based. We remain undeterred in this goal. While each current news story on the fire provides a small window into the life of who Will was, we are emboldened more now, than ever, to showcase Will Rogers’ prolific impact on society to the world through the magic of film. Our thoughts are with our fellow Will to Win producer and Will Rogers Family Representative Jennifer Rogers — and the thousands of people impacted by the ongoing wildfires in California.
