When her softball team is cut at Will Rogers High, a Cherokee girl draws inspiration from Will Rogers and decides to play boys baseball despite sabotage from the school superintendent.

Focusing on the Will To Win movie’s strong Native American themes, producers for the project have met in New Mexico. The state is a hub for Native actors, and others associated with the movie business. Producers Russ Kirkpatrick & Andy Kinslow, and Executive Producer Jhane Myers, who is Comanche and Blackfeet, discussed the movie’s lead Native character, Sky Forest and other parts of the movie. Outside of business in Santa Fe, Kirkpatrick & Kinslow met Ms. Myer’s lunch guest Dakota Beavers, one of the stars of the six-time Emmy nominated film, Prey, which Jhane Produced.

Producers have teamed up with William Morris Endeavor (WME) to strategically "package" the movie. Will To Win Producer Mark Heidelberger, in Hollywood, is assisting with the “packaging,” which means that WME is assisting with the selection of multiple roles necessary for the movie, including a director, actors, and others. Established in 1898, WME holds the distinction of being the entertainment industry's longest-standing talent agency, boasting an unparalleled roster of artists and content creators.
