The picturesque Will Rogers Birthplace, that could work well as a movie setting, has a new owner. The 162-acre site in Oologah, previously under the care of the Oklahoma Historical Society, was officially signed over to the Cherokee Nation during a ceremony attended by about 100 people, and several of the property’s cats. “Our family believes that this change, the transfer of ownership, will introduce new life and offer a fresh perspective that the ranch has so longed for,” wrote Jennifer Rogers-Etcheverry, great-granddaughter of Will Rogers. Ms. Rogers-Etcheverry is a consultant on the Will To Win Movie. Learn more here.
