SYNOPSIS
Sky Forest is devastated when softball is cut at Will Rogers High, threatening the promise she made to her Cherokee parents before they died to win a championship and secure a college scholarship. The school superintendent tries to sabotage her last option - pitching for the boy’s baseball team. Through her vivid imagination Sky enlists the help of Will Rogers himself, whose wisdom and humor helps her to discover the Will to Win.

Will Rogers (1879-1935) was an American humorist, actor, vaudeville performer, newspaper columnist and radio personality, philanthropist, and citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Born in Indian Territory in what is now Oologah, Oklahoma, Rogers earned the nickname “Oklahoma’s Favorite Son” because of his ability to connect with anyone through his wisdom, observations, humor, and outlook on life.
