D. SCOTT PETTY - EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

D. Scott Petty is a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications in 1988. While at OSU, he proudly served as the university's 40th mascot, Pistol Pete, from 1985 to 1987.

For more than 38 years, Scott has served in leadership and management roles across the nonprofit, healthcare, banking, and real estate industries. His commitment to community service has included leadership as Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and past president of the OKPOP Museum Foundation, the Saville Center for Child Advocacy, the Stillwater Public Education Foundation, and Oklahoma Friends of Music/Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. He currently serves on the boards of the Stillwater Community Foundation and the Wesley Foundation at Oklahoma State University.

In 2018, Scott was honored as the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year. He is the author of Stillwater Strong, Loyal and True, which chronicles the compassion and resilience of the Stillwater community following the 2015 OSU Homecoming Parade tragedy. He donated all book proceeds to support the construction of the Stillwater Strong Memorial and continues to support local charitable organizations.

Scott is an active member of Frontier Rotary Club, the Stillwater Car Club, and First United Methodist Church in Stillwater. He and his wife, Gerri, have been married for 37 years and are the proud parents of a son, daughter, son-in-law, and identical twin granddaughters. Before his professional career, Scott appeared in numerous stage productions, including Oklahoma!South PacificThe Miracle WorkerCarousel, and Summer and Smoke.
