Director

Sean McNamara is an acclaimed American director, writer, and producer known for inspiring, family-driven stories such as the breakout hit Soul Surfer.

McNamara’s recent films include Reagan starring Dennis Quaid, Penelope Ann Miller, and Jon Voight; Bau, Artist at War from Republic Pictures; Soul On Fire starring William H. Macy, John Corbett, and Joel Courtney; and On a Wing and a Prayer starring Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham, which premiered on Amazon Prime and was nominated for a 2024 Movieguide Award. He also directed Netflix’s True Spirit, the global hit about a 16-year-old sailor Jessica Watson, and The King’s Daughter starring Pierce Brosnan, Kaya Scodelario, and William Hurt.

Earlier successes include The Miracle Season starring Helen Hunt and Erin Moriarty; Spare Parts starring Marisa Tomei and George Lopez; and Raise Your Voice starring Hilary Duff.

As co-founder of Brookwell McNamara Entertainment, McNamara has produced over 40 feature films for studios including Paramount, Sony, Lionsgate, and Universal, along with 500+ TV episodes for Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Hulu, ABC, and CBS. He co-created MTV’s Beyond the Break and executive produced Even Stevens and That’s So Raven, earning a BAFTA Award, five Emmy nominations, and four DGA nominations. His honors include the Imagen Award for Best Director and Best Dramatic Feature at the GI Film Festival.

Known as an “Actor’s Director,” McNamara has collaborated with Academy Award winners Helen Hunt, William Hurt, Jon Voight, Marisa Tomei, and Mira Sorvino, as well as stars like Pierce Brosnan, Dennis Quaid, Shia LeBeouf, and Jessica Alba.

Sean lives in Playa Del Rey, California with his loving family, which includes his wife Christina, three amazing boys: Mark, Dylan, Seamus and his two Golden Retrievers, Bella and Blue.

A member of the Producers Guild of America, Russ Kirkpatrick is an Emmy Award Winning American Film Producer and Director based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kirkpatrick is producing and directing multiple film projects simultaneously in different stages of production. His work in filmmaking has taken him from Kyiv, Ukraine and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, to the British Overseas Territories and myriad locations across the continental United States. Using nearly 30 years of experience as a TV & radio news journalist – combined with investments and risk management in financial services – he now oversees day-to-day operations for Kirkpatrick & Kinslow Productions.

ABOUT Russ Kirkpatrick

Producers Guild of America (Producers Council) member Andy Kinslow works full time as co-owner & producer with Kirkpatrick & Kinslow. Previously, he founded KKT Architects, Inc., Tulsa’s largest locally owned award-winning full-service architecture, interiors, structural and civil engineering firm. Although he’s no longer involved, KKT Architects continues with the same name, under new ownership. His reach into community and passion for the arts extends well beyond his volunteer work with the Tulsa Community College Foundation, Tulsa Ballet, Arts Alliance Tulsa, Tulsa Arts Commission and Fay Jones School of Architecture & Design.
