Terri Cornett - Executive Producer

Terri Cornett was a 5th generation Oklahoman and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation who spent much of her professional career in sales and as a television executive at KTUL in Tulsa. Upon relocating to Oklahoma City, she became a consultant for Allied Arts Oklahoma City. Additionally, Terri was a 2022 nominee for the Journal Record’s Woman of the Year, “50 Making a Difference” 42nd annual event. She was also a board member of OETA Oklahoma/PBS and completed a term as board chair, a board member for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, and served in an advisory position for First United Bank.

A devoted member of the Cherokee Nation, Terri’s love for her community shone through in everything she did. From the very beginning, she played a vital role in bringing Will to Win to life, and we are forever grateful for her contributions. But more than that, we are truly fortunate to have known her, felt her kindness, and been uplifted by her radiant spirit.

As Will to Win author Jim Stovall beautifully shared, "Terri Cornett was a bright and shining colorful light in a world that is too often dull and dim. In that way, she was much like Will Rogers, with whom she was very proud to share her Cherokee heritage and to be working on this project."
